The Avondale Equine Service covers a wide area from Glasgow in the North, Moffat in the South, East Calder in the East and Galston in the West.

The practice is dedicated to reinvesting the money you spend on veterinary care, into equipment and training, therefore allowing us to provide the best possible service and facilities for your horse.

We have facilities for hospitalisation and intensive care for equines ranging from Miniature Shetlands to Clydesdales with 24hr CCTV cameras monitoring the stables and facilities.

The equine stocks provide a secure and safe restraint to allow reproductive work, standing surgical procedures, dental work, stem cell therapy, endoscopy etc.

The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies (Edinburgh University) provides a similar service. As well as experienced surgeons carrying out colic surgery, for example, these institutions can provide intensive care post-operatively and critical care management.
